REFUND & RETURNS POLICY
Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care, and as much clarity & transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be completely happy with your purchase! Please read below to see how we can help you, email kristylea@kristyleawestgeest.com with any questions.
Prints & Reproductions:
Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them. We accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out within 7 days, we will be unable to make a return, so please be prompt! Please note that this timeline is flexible during the winter holiday season. Please be aware an exchange may not arrive in time for Christmas if the new print is unable to be printed until after December 13th, as we fulfill exchange requests only after receiving the returned print.
If you wish to return a reproduction print, a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the print (and varnish, if applicable) cost will be applied. We are more than happy to exchange a print for you, though the restocking fee for the original print will still be applied, as we print to order and try our best to not have prints sitting in stock.
Original artwork
Reproductions and non-original products: You may cancel your order within the first 24 hours. After 24 hours a 20% restocking fee will be applied. Returns and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping services. Please get in touch with kristylea@kristyleawestgeest.com within 7 days of receiving your artwork.
All sales of original artwork are final.
Sale items
We cannot accept items purchased on sale for return or exchange. This will be clear in the listing. We’ve carefully checked over each piece to decide if it’s a good fit for the sale price, and any blemish, size variation, add-on (like varnish or margin), has been included in the listing description to give the collector a good idea of what variant includes this piece in this year’s sale. Not all pieces will have all variants or blemishes described.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, digital content or course purchases unless stated otherwise on the course sales page, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items or commissioned pieces), and sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at kristylea@kristyleawestgeest.com Cost of return shipping is at the purchasers expense and will not be refunded.
