Give Back Editions are special 5×7 art prints released in connection with meaningful causes. Each edition is created with heartfelt intention, and a portion of every purchase supports an organization that gives back to the community in a meaningful, life-changing way.

The Story Behind The Piece
This piece holds deep personal meaning for me.
The Postcard Art Exhibit is a fundraiser supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, with a special focus on creating art opportunities for those living with the disease and for their loved ones. It’s a cause that is close to my heart. Both my Oma and Opa, who immigrated from Holland, lived with Alzheimer’s/dementia, and I’ve also witnessed its impact through my sister-in-law, who was diagnosed at a very young age with early-onset dementia.
While the original artwork was created and donated in connection with the Postcard Art Exhibit and Alzheimer’s awareness, this Give Back Edition supports Survivor Fitness, an organization whose mission aligns closely with my own healing journey. I donated the original in my Oma and Opa’s memory and in honour of my sister-in-law.
The painting forms the inside of a tulip. The outer petals symbolize the greater community, those who surround families with compassion, understanding, and support as they walk this path with their loved ones. Closer to the center are the caregivers and immediate family members, holding steady, offering love, presence, and care through each stage of the journey. At the very center, the stamen, surrounded by it all, represents the person living with the disease, the very heart.
Each layer surrounds the next with a sweet tenderness and gentle presence. Even when caregivers feel fragile themselves, they continue to hold space for those they care for with love. I hope that this piece quietly reminds all who encounter it that no one facing this disease, whether living with it or caring for someone who is, is ever truly alone. We are a community surrounding one another and there to support one another.

This is a limited edition print. Once this edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
Why Give Back Editions?
During my own cancer journey, I was carried by the care, generosity, and strength of others when I needed it most. Those moments left a deep imprint on my heart.
Art has always been my healing space, a place where I process, breathe, and begin again. Give Back Editions are my way of extending that healing outward.
This is art created from gratitude, and shared with intention.
