“Let It Pass” is a gentle reminder that moments come and go, yet we often hold onto them far longer than we need to.
As I painted this piece, I felt as though I was being carried by the current… simply just there, floating along, allowing it to take me where it may, I could literally feel myself floating while painting. There was this sense of ease in watching life move, the brush just floating across the paper, rather than trying to be controlled.
Turtles carry beautiful symbolism. They remind us to move at a slow, steady pace, choosing patience over impulsivity. Connected deeply to water and emotion, they represent a balance between movement and stillness, between the inner and outer world.
If turtles can move through life with such calm and quiet trust, we can too.
